NIXA, Mo. -- Lady Cardinals Cross Country may have brought home a new trophy from the District Meet, but the team has their eyes on one more trophy. Webb City finished 2nd to qualify as a team for the Cross Country Championships. Five Lady Cardinals qualified for state individually: Brooke Hedger, Araceli Perez, Brooke Collard, Emma McKinzie, Olivia Klotz.

3rd - Brooke Hedger: 18:08.46

5th - Araceli Perez: 18:42.81

11th - Brooke Collard: 19:17.27

16th - Emma McKinzie: 19:29.98

25th - Olivia Klotz: 19:45.84

31st - Tatym Buster: 20:09.08

The team finished 2nd overall with 60 points. St. Teresa's Academy took the first place finish with 44 points. Lady Cardinals finished with a 1:37 1-5 Split and 19:04 average.

The Cross Country Championship takes place Friday, November 7th at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. The girls race starts at 1:45 PM.
