Junior Brooke Hedger lowered her personal best by 42 seconds in setting a new school record of 18:30.11 in winning the cross country meet in Bolivar on Saturday.

Racing from the front of the pack, she made her move at the two mile mark, finishing nearly 30 seconds ahead of the next competitor.
