Starting slowly and eking out a 27-25 first set, the Lady Cardinals rallied in the next two 25-14, 25-13 to complete the sweep moving to 6-4 on the season.

Springfield Central jumped out to an early 9-3 lead in the opening set before the Cardinals responded with a 10- 4 run to even the game at 13.  At 19 all, back to back kills from both Marlee Harper and Savannah Crane combined with a Bulldog error put Webb City on the cusp of finishing off the first set.  Central then rolled off six of the next seven points to hold a 25-24 lead.  Kills from Adelyn Maxwell and Marlee Harper and then a serve ace from Allison Collard and the Cardinals had escaped with the 27-25 win.

Set two started out just as even, but with the score holding on at 12-11, Webb City went on a 7-0 run.  Harper was once again a major part of it with a block and consecutive kills in the midst of it.  Blocks from Kaelyn Maxwell finished off the set 25-14.

Webb City then looked to make quick work of set three moving out quickly to a 14-4 advantage.  Moments later three service aces from Savannah Crane put the Cardinals in full control to end the night with a 25-13 score.

Final tallies show Marlee Harper led the team with 12 kills followed by Kaelyn Maxwell (9) and Adelyn Maxwell (8).  Savannah Crane dished out 31 assists with Libero Avery Gardner earning 18 digs.
