The Lady Cardinals defeated Carthage 2-1 in COC action on Thursday night.  The nights theme, Dig Pink, found players and fans wearing pink in observance of breast cancer awareness month.  Elaine Shewmake, a cancer survivor served as honorary coach for the evening.

The Cardinals, after losing game 1, rallied to beat the Tigers 25-10 in game 2 as Hailey Roderique served out the last six points highlighted by back to back kills by Kaitlin Jaeger.  Game 3 found the Cardinals streaking out to a 21-9 lead and winning 25-14.  Roderique ended the night with 18 assists and Jaeger finished with 16 kills.

Before the game, senior Kaitlin Jaeger was honored for surpassing 1000 kills in her career.
