Lady Cardinals dominate distance events, capture district title

Brooke Hedger won two events as the Lady Cardinals dominated the distance events to capture the Class 5 - District 6 championship.  Webb City captured five first place finishes, three runner up and six third place finishes in holding off Nixa.

Distance Events -

Brooke Hedger captured gold in both the 800M and 1600M with Araceli Perez claiming the 3200M as the Cardinals swept the distant running events.  Tatym Buster was second in the 3200M.  Araceli Perez also claimed third in the 1600M with teammate Emma McKinzie claiming bronze in the 800M.  With the Cardinals claiming six of the nine top spots in those three events, they added 50 points to the team total.
