SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Lady Cardinals Tennis wrapped up their season on a good note. The team took a trip to Springfield to compete in the COC-West Tournament and left with a 3rd place finish.

In the first round, Webb City defeated Parkview 5-0.

Round 2, Webb City fell to 2nd seed, and eventual champion, Republic 5-0.

Round 3, Webb City made up for their earlier season loss to Joplin, defeating the Lady Eagles in the 3rd-place match 5-3.

The team improved their overall record to 7-8, and now look ahead to the postseason.

Postseason action kicks off Friday for the District Individuals. Parkview hosts the tournament at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
