"This was a match I'm glad we got out of our system before we travel to Springfield tomorrow to compete in the COC West Championships. We didn't start out well, and many matches were closer than we'd have liked," head coach Stephany Pace said. "How we finished, though, says a lot about the competitiveness of our girls. Aubrey Peterson fought all the way back from 1-6 to win in an absolute battle. We feel like we're in a good place going into tomorrow and into Districts at the end of the week. Now we just need to play OUR brand of tennis and do it consistently to extend the season."
