"Nixa is capital-T tough every single year. This year is no different. They're one of the best teams we'll see all season long," head coach Stephany Pace said. "What Coach Derryberry and I kept saying all night long was, 'But look at us hanging in there. Look at that shot. Look how our girls are running with them.' It certainly wasn't as definitive a win as the overall score implies. We never enjoy a loss, but it's satisfying to see our young team competing with the likes of Nixa."
