SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The hot streak continues for Lady Cardinals Golf. The team wrapped up their regular season with a big finish. They travelled to Bill & Payne Golf Course in Springfield for the COC-West Tournament and had a 2nd place finish.
Brooklyn Cartwright finished 3rd individually, tallying a new PR of 84 strokes. Violet Haut finished 5th with 86 on her scorecard. Clare Zahm finished 6th with 88, and Cassie Collins hit a new PR of 97, finishing 12th overall.
The team finished with 355 strokes in total, just 10 strokes behind first place Carthage's 345. Republic and Joplin tied for 3rd with 380 strokes each.
They now look ahead to the postseason with the Class 3 District 3 Golf Tournament. The tournament tees off October 9th at Silo Ridge in Bolivar, MO.
