Kathy Harris enters her 29th year as a Webb City educator and coach. For 23 of those years she has assisted with the girls basketball program at varying age levels from youth programs to jr. high and high school. Her focus has always been to teach the fundamentals of the game to all the girls she coached and inspire them to be great student-athletes.

Under her shared leadership, the Webb City girls basketball programs have won multiple tournaments, district and conference titles, and one state championship. Harris aspires to continue encouraging young student-athletes to be the best version of themselves on and off the court.

Harris is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University where she competed in two sports volleyball and softball, while completing her bachelors of education. After graduating from MSSU, she received her masters of education from St. Mary’s College in Kansas. Harris is supported by her husband of 40 years Michael Harris and her daughter Emily Harris, a former graduate of Webb City and MSSU.
