The Lady Cardinals took care of winless Parkview 69-22 for a COC West and district win on Monday night.

Cardinal Leaders

Abby Sargent - Scored 22 points on 10-13 shooting including 2-3 from long range.  Grabbing 5 rebounds, she was also credited with seven steals.

Whitlee Keith - Hitting 3-4 from behind the arc in a 5-8 shooting performance, Keith finished with 14 points.  

Addie Burns - Third member in double digits with 13.  

Adalyn Maxwell - Team high six rebounds, four on the offensive glass.  Finished with seven points and three blocked shots.

Game Recap

A little sluggish at the start, the Cardinals still took early control scoring the first 10 points and building a 24-2 lead after the first quarter.  Parkview was held without a basket, only connecting on two of three free throws.   The second quarter was much the same with Webb City outscoring the Vikings 18-4.  

Outscored 4-3 at the outset of the third quarter, Webb City put up 21 of the next 24 points, building a 50 point advantage.   The final quarter went by quickly with the running clock as the Cardinals emptied their bench.

Team Stats

The Cardinals forced 28 turnovers, generated by 19 steals, converting them into 40 points.   Controlling the boards, Webb City outrebounded the Vikings 32-11.   Had three different scoring outbursts of 10 or more points, highlighted by a 24-0 run across the end of the first and start of the second quarter.
