A nearly four minute dry spell in the second quarter doomed the Cardinals in a COC East vs West battle with the Nixa Eagles.  After Nixa jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, Webb City clawed its way back into the game trailing 17-15 at the end of the first quarter.  At the six minute mark of the second quarter, a three from Whitlee Keith closed the score back to within two at 20-18, but the Cardinals would not score again until there were two and half minutes left in the quarter.  Nixa outscored the Cardinals over that span 13-0, building a lead it would not relinquish.

Even thought nine different players scored in the game for the Cardinals, Whitlee Keith was the only Cardinal to reach double figures, finishing with 13.  

The Cardinals will be on the road at Waynesville on Thursday.
