Madeline Hayes scored 16 points to lead the Cardinals past Ft Smith Southside on Saturday in the Great 8 Tournament held in Rogers AR.  Darcy Darnell scored 11 points and Ali Vanzant finished with 10.  The Lady Cardinals took control early, leading 34-16 at halftime, and maintained the lead before finishing with the 56-23 victory.

The win came after opening the tournament with two losses.  Keira Jackson led the team in scoring with 8 points In the opening loss to Rogers Heritage 47-30.  

On Friday night, Darnell scored 11 and the trio of Jackson, Hayes and Sierra Kimbrough each chipped in 10, but Webb City fell 65-55 to Camdenton.

The Lady Cardinals (1-2) will return to Arkansas this weekend for a tournament at Bentonville.
