Gabbie Gannaway and Mikaela Burgess combined for 43 points as Webb City defeated Neosho 78-46 in a Central Ozark Conference Large Division girls basketball opener on Monday night.
The Cardinals built a 41-24 halftime advantage against the Wildcats.
Gannaway, who had four 3s, scored 23 points. Burgess added two treys. Megan Heman gave Webb City, 8-2 overall, a third scorer in double figures with 16.
Said Webb City coach Brad Shorter: "We managed to get into a flow kind of like we were when we left off (entering the Christmas break). We moved the ball well and we were solid rebounding the ball. Overall, we played well."
