The Class 5 number 1 ranked Webb City Lady Cardinals claimed a second straight crown at 7-0 in the Large Division of the Central Ozark Conference. They won over Nixa 55-37 Thursday night. At halftime the girls lead 36-14.  "We got off to a good start," Webb City Coach Brad Shorter said. "We also were able to run a bit."

Webb City, 23-2 overall, received 15 points a piece from Kyndal Clark and Mikaela Burgess. Hailey Roderique added 14. Clark and Burgess each had three 3-pointers.

Shorter said freshman Burgess, with senior Breanna Faircloth on a trip, saw more playing time than usual.
