The Lady Cardinals ran past the West Plains Zizzers on Saturday, 68-50, to earn a return trip back to Columbia and the Final Four of the MSHSAA basketball tournament.
Kaitlyn Jaeger scored 13 of the first 15 points for the Cardinals and after back to back three's from Gabbie Gannaway and Kyndal Clark, Webb City led 21-5 at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter found the Zizzers make a run at the Cardinals, closing to 29-20, but Jaeger finished the half with a bucket plus one and the Cardinals went to half leading 32-20.
Webb City dominated the third quarter with a quick 8-2 run to start the quarter and then Clark nailed three long range jumpers around an old fashioned three point play by Hailey Roderique and the lead had ballooned to 52-22. Jaeger finished the third quarter, scoring the last six of her game leading 28 points.
Hailey Roderique finished with 13 points, followed by 12 from Clark.
Webb City will play Friday night at 8:45 at the MIZZOU arena in Columbia.
