The Lady Cardinals celebrated senior night with a 2-1 win over the Ozark Tigers.
The pitching of senior Laney Kneib and the cluthch hitting of senior Chelsea Smith combined to keep the Cardinals perfect in COC play.
After trailing 1-0 since the first inning, Courtney Jones was hit leading off the fifth inning. Smith then unloaded a homerun to left center.
Kneib scattered four hits, strking out 11 in the complete game win.
After the game, seven seniors were recognized for the contributions to Lady Cardinal softball. They were Laney Kneib, Lexie Gardner, Chelsea Smith, Alyssa Williams, Alexah Replogle, Kambrey Cooper and Felicia Severson.
The Cardinals travel to Miami on Wednesday afternoon to face Carl Junction in the championship of the Miami tournament.
