Cardinals win three events, finish second at sectionals

The Cardinals qualified in eight events for next weeks state meet, finishing with a second place team finish.

Louden Bolinger qualified in two events, winning the shot put by over two feet with a throw of 18.79,  He also qualified with a third place throw in the disc.

The relay team of James Baldassaro, James Dalrymple, Andrew Dawson and  Noah Lankard set a new school record in winning the 4x800 with a time of 7:47.  

Cooper White was the sectional champ in the javelin winning by over 2 meters with a throw of 53.04.

Another school record was set by the 4X400 as they finished a half-second off the pace with a silver time of 3:21.8.  Team members were Leryck Hurst, Kaden Moreland, James Baldassaro and Noah Lankard.

Mason Bradley cleared nearly 14', earning silver in the pole vault.  Noah Lankard also earned a silver medal individually running a personal best time of 1:55.92 in the 800M.

Judah Ackerman qualified with a fourth place leap of 13.01 in the triple jump, a personal best.

Other point earners, helping the Cardinals to the runner up plaque was sixth place finishes from Andrew Dawson (3200M), Trae Turner (High Jump), and Guner Eads (Javelin).
