Cardinals finish second at district meet

The Cardinals won four events in finishing as runner up in the Class 5 - District 6 championship.  Webb City also captured two runner up and four third place finishes on the day.

Throwing Events -

Louden Bolinger set a new school record in winning the shot, with a throw of 19.81M (~65').  Cooper White also grabbed gold with a javelin throw of 50.9 (~167'), teammate Gunnar Eads finished third.

Bolinger earned a third place medal, throwing the disc 51.59M.

Jumping Events -

Trae Turner leaped his way into gold, clearing a personal best 1.89M (6'2").

Judah Ackerman finished fourth in the triple jump.  Cooper Ackerman doubled up with a seventh place finish in the triple jump and eighth in long jump.

Two Cardinals came away with points in the pole vault.  Mason Bradley finished with two others in jumping 4.39M (14' 5"), but after tie breakers applied, was placed at second.  John Makowski placed sixth.

Distance Events -

The 4X800 Relay team came with the gold winning time of 8:04, four seconds in front of Nixa and Ray-Pec.

Noah Lankard came away with a silver (800M) and a bronze (1600M), the best individual Cardinal finisher.  Points were also scored in the 800M by James Baldassaro (5th), the 1600M by James Dalrymple (6th), and in the 3200M by Andrew Dawson (4th) and Ryland Davis (7th).

Running events (Sprints) -

Kaden Moreland finished 6th in the 400M. 

In the hurdles, Braydon Martinez finished sixth at 300M and Dalton Riggs grabbed eighth in the 110M.

The 4x400 Relay team earned a bronze, just .4 out of second place.
