In JV action, Cardinal sophomore Yadi Martinez beat Wildcat sophomore Billy Russell 6-0. 6-0.

 

Varsity travels to the Cooper Tennis Complex to play in the Springfield Invitational Tournament tomorrow (Wed., April 15) and will host Republic on Thursday.

 

"We needed a win tonight, and our guys went out and took it," head coach Stephany Pace said. "The SIT tomorrow is a tough tournament with 24 teams in it. It'll be a great test for us here as we enter the last stretch of our season."
