"We saw several guys today in both 1 and 2 doubles today who competed at State last year. We might have come out in those brackets a little starstruck, but our guys learned a whole lot today, played hard, and competed well. Days like these remind us all what is possible when we work like crazy, compete hard, and give our absolute best," head coach Stephany Pace said. "Justice took a laser-beam shot to the eye socket in their first match at 1 doubles, and he played the remainder of the tourney with an eye that was all-but swollen shut. That effort motivated all of the guys, and we're so thankful he's alright. Next week's a lighter week, so we are excited to work on everything we identified this week."
