On Thursday, April 2, the Webb City boys tennis team traveled to Willard and then to Ozark in COC action.
At Willard, Webb went down 0-9, falling to 2-3 on the season.
Results:
1 Doubles: seniors Justice Bonnow/Ryder Stuart lost 8-3 to senior Kooper Shipman (1)/soph Alijah Small (2).
2 Doubles: seniors Jayden Bowker/Gio Paparelli lost 8-5 to junior Knox Key (3)/soph Anthony Hernandez (5).
3 Doubles: seniors Oliver Bollin/Anthony Stump lost 8-4 to soph Jeremiah Small/junior Sawyer Crayton.
1Singles: Bonnow lost 8-4 to Shipman.
2Singles: Bowker lost 8-2 to ASmall.
3Singles: Stuart lost 8-4 to Key.
4Singles: Paparelli lost 8-6 to JSmall.
5Singles: Bollin lost 8-3 to Hernandez.

Junior Isaac Shipley/soph Yadier Martinez went 0-2.
Sophomores Kaden Thiele/Duncan McClintick went 0-2.
Freshmen Luckster Pulsipher/Isaac Bowker went 0-2.
Freshmen Kaden Horn/Logan Haslett-Carbonell went 0-1.
In JV singles, Shipley, Martinez, Thiele, McClintick, Pulsipher, IBowker, Horn, Haslett-Carbonell all went 0-1.
At Ozark, the Tigers beat the Cardinals 9-0, dropping Webb City to 2-4 on the season in head-to-head competition.

"We battled what ended up being the strongest winds of the season today, and that is really saying something," head coach Stephany Pace said. "Our guys came out tight and never really got their groove in either match today. We'll take the lessons from today and use those to continue working and moving forward."
