Monday night, Webb City boys' tennis traveled to Monett to take on the Cubs in non-conference play, coming away with a 6-3 win. This win brings the Cardinals' season to an even 2-2 record.
In Varsity play, all three doubles teams won their matches. In singles, Monett took the #1, #2, and #3 matches, but Webb City won #4, #5, and #6.

In JV action, Webb City also beat Monett 6-3.
Junior Isaac Shipley/sophomore Yadier Martinez went 2-0.
Junior David Moreland/sophomore Kaden Thiele went 2-0.
Sophomore Duncan McClintick/freshman JT Clayton went 1-1.
Freshmen Peyton Wright/JT Clayton went 1-0.
Freshmen Luckster Pulsipher/Isaac Bowker went 0-1.
Freshmen Logan Haslett-Carbonell/Kaden Horn went 0-1.
"Each time out, our guys are improving. It was a great night for us. We can see confidence growing in most them, and we see areas for improvement," assistant coach Dean Derryberry said. "It was fun to see the new guys play in their first official head-to-head matches, and we're excited to see how they respond in practice this week."
