SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A pair of Cardinals swimmers had some nice marks at the SWMO Championships Prelims on Friday. Dalton Spence and Oliver Thompson advanced to the SWMO Finals in a handful of events.

Spence made finals in the 200 Independent Medley and 100 Fly. In the 200 IM, he earned top seed of B final with a 2:10.32 mark -- finishing in 7th total. His 56.67 mark made the 5th seed of A final in the 100 Fly and a 5th place finish overall. He also managed to drop times on both of those events.

Thompson also dropped time in his events. He finished with a 56.93 mark in the 100 Fly, finishing 6th and earning the 6th seed of the A Final. In the 100 Yard Back, he finished with an 8th place finish and 1:02.44 mark. That earned him the 2nd seed of B finals.

Riley Hubard was just shy of making finals, but dropped some times. He placed 23rd in the 100 Yard Free with a mark of 57.45. In the 200 Yard Free, he placed 21st with a 2:08.07.
