Webb City defeated Aurora 4-2 on Tuesday evening at Cardinal stadium.
After allowing Aurora to score in the first minute, Jorge Maldonado scored the first Cardinal goal at the 16 minute mark and Christian Kilby gave the Cardinals a 2-1 lead with the his goal in the 28th minute.
Aurora tied the game with the just over 4 minutes before half, but Manuel Cornelio found the back of the net on a cross from OB King a minute later and the Cardinals led 3-2 at halftime.
In the second half, the Cardinal offense created numerous scoring chances but were unable to score until Brenden Kilby scored in the 76th minute for a final score of 4-2.
The Cardinals will play at home again on Thursday.
