The Cardinals regular season came to a close with a 42-39 loss at Joplin. The COC West division loss drops the Cardinals into second place in the final standings.
Cardinal Leaders
Jackson Adams - Led the team with 11 points on 4-6 shooting from the field including 2-3 from three point range.
Trae Turner - Finished nine points, handing out four assists.

Game Recap
Neither team was able to find much offense success in the first half, only scoring 27 combined points, and the Cardinals went to the locker room down 18-9.
Webb City was able to cut the lead in half headed into the final quarter trailing 27-23. The Eagles built the lead back to eight before the Cardinals scored nine of the next eleven and got to within a single point with less than three minutes left in the game. Still trailing by one point, the final minute found the Cardinals coming up empty and the Eagles on a 5-0 run to force Webb City into foul mode. Two field goals by Jackson Adams weren't enough as Webb City finishes the season at 15-11.
Team Stats
After shooting only 20% in the first half, the Cardinals found more success in the second half and finished at 42% for the game compared with the Eagles 37%. It was at the free throw line that the Eagles prevailed scoring 10 more points, making 14-19 while the Cardinals only converted 4-12.
District play begins on Tuesday as the Cardinals will take on the host Willard Tigers with an 8:00 start.
