Cardinals win #600

Cardinals win#600! In the history of Webb City Cardinal football, many milestones and accomplishments have been earned and achieved. This is a testament to the many coaches and players that gave of their blood, sweat and tears all those years.  On a brisk and damp Friday night at Cardinal Stadium another milestone was achieved as the Football Cardinals won the 600th game in the history of Webb City High School by beating the West Plains Zizzers 45-7 in the first round of the district play.  The Cards put up huge rushing numbers with 392 yards on 42 carries.  Senior Phoenix Johnson led all rushers with 145 yards on just 5 carries and 2 TD's. Cooper Smith finished with 1 touchdown and 97 yards on 4 carries. Kyle Baldasarre had 7 carries for 55 yards and also scored a touchdown. Quarterback John Roderique was 3 for 5 passing for 55 yards and 2 TD's. Tightend Kohl Slaughter had a 30 yard touchdown grab in the 1st quarter.  Webb City defense played very well and held the Zizzers to only 4 first downs and 65 yards rushing and only 45 yards passing.
