Webb City earned its second straight victory by beating Monett 4-2.

The Cardinals hiked their record to 2-4 on the season.

Jacob Monroe and Devrin Weathers recorded two hits apiece for the Cardinals, while Cole Gayman drove in two runs. Monroe and Kade Hicks had one RBI each.

Wyatt Hodson earned the victory, limiting the Cubs to one run on eight hits in five innings. Alex Bass picked up the save.

Webb City is at Springfield Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
