The Webb City baseball Cards won their first round in District play on Saturday, May 12. Number one seed Webb City beat McDonald County 3-1. Richie Peoples started and worked six innings with Breckin Williams closing. The two seniors limited Mac County to four hits. In the second inning, Gage Belcher singled with one out. Peoples reached on an error. Andrew McDaniel, who had two hits, followed with a run scoring single that moved Peoples to third. A passed ball sent Peoples home and Cooper Smith scored on a two-out single by Duncan Fletcher.

The Cardinals play Carl Junction today at 4pm.
