Webb City scored six runs in the first inning in beating McDonald County 12-2 in five innings in nonconference prep baseball on Monday at Barnes Field.
The Cardinals, 10-5 overall, collected 11 hits to back the pitching of senior right-hander Keaton Teal and junior right-hander Jay Roderique.
Teal worked four innings and struck out three. Roderique worked the fifth frame.
Webb City received three hits and two RBI from Austin White, two hits and three RBI from Klay James, three hits from Breckin Williams and a two-run triple from Carson Powell.
The Mustangs' Drey Fickle had two hits and Kently Self knocked in both of their runs.
