New school records

In the first two meets of the year, two Cardinals athletes set new school records.  

At the Willard throws, junior Louden Bolinger broke a 20 year old shot put record with a throw of 58' 7.1" (17.86M) breaking the previous record by almost three inches.

At the McDonald County Stampede one week later, sophomore Chasney Brown broke a nine year old record when she won the 200M sprint with a time of 25.69.

Other top ten all time performances in the opening two meets include:

Gunar Eads - #7 Javelin - 163' 10"

Chemmy Purcell, Lia Taylor, Emmie Bulger, Maslyn McNaught - #8 4x100 - 51.96 seconds

Emma McKinzie, Alexis Shuster, Brooke Collard, Araceli Perez - #6 4x800 - 10:23.73

Braelyn Bonnow - #9 Triple Jump - 31' 9.5"

 

Both teams will compete at Pitt State on Friday
